This event catalogue is based on a year two essay which I wrote. Divided explores how visual culture in Ireland played an important role in expressing the change Ireland saw as a society with regards to the resistance to British rule from the 18th to the 20th century.
Year two project.

This project began with a year two essay I wrote, which examined the historical vandalism and destruction of British objects in Ireland.
Image selection and editing was a large part of this project, focusing on British statues of the 19th century, the postal system of the 20th century and the political murals of the present day.
Completed remotely in lockdown back in March 2020, I had limited resources to complete the project. This caused me to focus on typographic detail and image selection in a way I had not before.
